Filter set Ø160 mm for DUKA One pro 50S is developed specifically for ventilation units to ensure your DUKA One system functions optimally. The filters play a central role in maintaining a healthy and comfortable indoor climate, while protecting the ventilation itself from dust, dirt and larger particles, which would otherwise strain both the motor and heat recovery module.
A standard filter set contains two filters, providing full coverage for both supply and exhaust. The material is a polyurethane foam with an open cell structure that functions as a coarse filter – often categorized as G3 filter class.
This type of filter is particularly suitable for capturing common everyday particles such as dust, fibres, pollen and minor dirt, without impeding the airflow in the unit. The foam’s structure ensures that air resistance is kept low, allowing the fan to operate efficiently and quietly.
Using clean filters is crucial for both indoor climate and energy efficiency. When filters become clogged, the air flow decreases and the unit has to work harder to create the same air exchange. This can lead to increased energy consumption, poor ventilation and, in the long term, a shortened lifespan of the unit. It is therefore recommended to check the filters regularly – typically every 3–4 months – to assess whether they have become dark, dusty or dirty.
Many users find that the felt can last up to around 12 months, but this depends a lot on the environment, such as whether there is pollen, traffic dust or construction work nearby.
With proper replacement and care, the filters ensure that the air in the home remains fresh and that the ventilation unit can work stably, efficiently and quietly for many years to come.
